Based at Aarambh Community Farm in an organic coconut grove on the lush green outskirts of Mysuru, our spaces are designed to support rest, nourishment, and connection to land. Thoughtful accommodations, shared and private living spaces, and freshly prepared meals create the conditions for a peaceful rest in natural creativity and renewal.

Private Room — Community House

There are two comfortable private rooms within our shared community house, ideal for guests who value personal space while remaining connected to the collective rhythm of retreat life. One is the deluxe private room which includes a private balcony and private bathroom with a large bathtub. The other is the standard private room which includes a shared bathroom with a standard shower. All bathrooms have western toilets.

  • Suitable for single occupancy or couples

Shared Room — Community House

A spacious shared room designed for retreat participants who enjoy community living and shared rhythms.

  • Two twin beds

  • Shared bathroom

  • Nice wooden desk and dresser

Private Cottage House

A standalone cottage offering greater privacy and flexibility, well-suited for teachers, families, or small groups seeking a more independent living space during the retreat.

Features:
  • One bedroom with two twin beds

  • Spacious living room with sofas (can be used as additional sleeping space)

  • Private bathroom

  • Private terrace

  • Private kitchen

  • Ideal for longer stays or small-group retreats

Shared Kitchens, Living Spaces, Community Pool

Both the community house and the private cottage include fully supplied kitchens, allowing guests to prepare their own meals and beverages if they wish, alongside enjoying the meals prepared as part of retreat hospitality.  Living spaces encourage informal gathering, reflection, and rest throughout the day.

All accommodations include access to our shared, chemical-free community pool, where the water is regularly cycled back into the land.

Meals

Seasonal, Sattvic, and Thoughtfully Prepared

Meals at Mud Story Retreats are prepared with care, using fresh, seasonal ingredients and traditional South Indian culinary wisdom. Menus are designed to support retreat life—nourishing without heaviness and aligned with daily practice rhythms.

Meals are often enjoyed together in shared spaces that invite slowing down and connection.
